Fidessa''s sell-side OMS provides a multi-asset trading platform with customisable workflows. It delivers straight-through processing from order inception to trade confirmation and comprehensive middle and back-office capabilities.
Key features of the OMS are integrated algorithmic and basket trading capabilities, intelligent liquidity access tools and comprehensive market data available from a single platform. Fidessa connects to 160+ exchanges for direct member trading and to over 650 brokers for non-member trading offering a range of execution services including care, DMA and algo trading.
The Fidessa Asian Trading Platform supports FIX versions 4.0 to 4.4. Fidessa currently supports the standard VWAP, TWAP, and POV benchmark algorithms, along with several execution level models for trailing stops, etc.
Fidessa’s order and execution management tools are integrated with real-time market data sourced directly from the exchanges, supplemented with news from Dow Jones, AFX and AFP. Market data can also be sourced from Bloomberg and Reuters.
Routing and trading venues
Fidessa is connected to all the major trading venues and alternative liquidity venues in Asia – Chi-X Japan, Kabu.com, Chi-East, KoreaCross and Instinet CBX – and is ready to connect to Chi-X Australia when it launches.
Fidessa smart order routing has evolved since 2007 and currently has 40+ clients globally. Fidessa has recently signed an agreement with the ASX to provide the software and technology infrastructure for a new breed of smart workstation, ASX Best, providing SOR capabilities for Australian markets. Fidessa also plans to offer SOR in India.
Fidessa is planning a FIX portal – a connectivity application that provides clients with the ability to customise inbound and outbound message flow to meet their own specific requirements, including the ability to support direct connections, custom message manipulation, business routing rules and also the support of alternative message protocols.
